Hearing Conservation Measures for Employees’ Quality of Life and Safety
CSC places great importance on occupational health, safety, and the overall well-being of employees, particularly in preventing and minimizing hearing-related risks associated with working in high-noise environments. The Company has implemented a comprehensive “Hearing Conservation Program” covering monitoring, prevention, and employee health care in a systematic manner.
The Company conducts workplace noise level assessments and prepares Noise Contour Maps to identify and evaluate high-risk areas within the factory. Warning signs are also installed in areas where noise levels exceed the standard limits in order to enhance awareness and promote a strong safety culture among employees.
In addition, employees are encouraged to strictly use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as ear muffs and ear plugs, according to the nature of their work and the noise levels in each area. The Company also continuously provides training and knowledge on hearing protection and noise hazard prevention.
To further support employee health, annual audiometric testing is conducted to closely monitor and assess employees’ hearing capability. Supervisors and employees at all levels are encouraged to actively participate in complying with workplace safety measures and hearing conservation practices.
The Company firmly believes that creating a safe working environment and comprehensively caring for employees’ health are fundamental foundations for sustainable business operations and for fostering a happy and safe workplace for everyone.
